I hope you are doing well on your vegan diet. I like VegWeb for vegan meals. They usually have ratings, so you know if people liked them or not. What a lucky daughter you have, to be vegan at such a young age. Don't be afraid to give her a supplement to make sure she's getting B12 & enough Vitamin d & iron.

I wish you luck! I get many moms who want to raise vegan kids, but have husbands who say NO WAY! This is tough.. my husband wanted to go Vegan, so I never experienced this. I can only recommend that you try to educate him with books & documentaries. Forks Over Knives is very informative. Hopefully you can agree on being Vegan some days? In my house I do all of the cooking, so the ball is in my court. But I don't know how it works in your house... Baby steps I guess. :)

I like Mega Food Vitamins. They contain wholefoods & not synthetic chemicals. Nice to hear that your son is vegan from a young age. Introduce him to lots of different veggies! As he gets older try ethnic dishes. Most Ethnic restaurants are Vegan friendly so it will be great if he enjoys a varieties of flavors!!! Make sure to include vitamin c foods with his iron foods. He will better absorb iron this way.

At this time, this is the only "Vegan" formula that I know of. Vegan educator, Christina Pirello recommends it. I do not know for sure where the vitamin D comes from. Obviously breast is best.....

Being Vegan takes determination & can be quite challenging. But challenges make life more exciting!! It's all in the mind set. If you want to be vegan... BE VEGAN!! :) I know it's tough when you are surrounded by butter and meat. But I know that france has some amazing markets that are filled with gorgeous fruits & veggies. Stock up, order a vegan cookbook & go for it!!! Try veganizing some of your favorite dishes from your heritage. I hope you are able to stick with this lifestyle because I must say, it's pretty great!

Welcome to the most healthy, & compassionate lifestyle on the planet. Veganism will offer your family all of the protein, vitamins & minerals needed to be strong & healthy. Your diet should consist of lots of veggies (much of it raw if possible) fruits, beans, nuts, seeds & whole grains. Pasta is ok, but try to buy those made of whole wheat, quinoa or spelt. Keep refined sugars to a minimum. I recommend using a once a day multi vitamin with iron & b12. Your family should be fine with getting enough iron, but include vitamin c with your dark leafy greens so your body will better absorb the iron. Ex:Kale with lemon or some orange juice with dinner.
Have fun with Vegan cookbooks and experiment with new exciting recipes!! Check out Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He offers a wealth of information on nutrition!! Best of luck!!

Yes, the company says breast is best before 1 year. BUT, moms tell me that their pediatricians have checked out the ingredients & they are fine for infants. Christina Pirello recommends this for infants also. Most importantly, do your research & make the best choice for your child. :)
